Lincoln Chafee is the unknown candidate of the Democrats running for President. He does have an extensive background in serving the public in Rhode Island. This includes being Governor, US Senator and Mayor of Warwick Rhode Island. If you go to his official website one of the first things you see is his mantra; “Politics change. Make the New Jersey Turnpike toll free!

Should the New Jersey Turnpike be made a toll free road? With the problems caused by the traffic, mostly big trucks, that is traveling on parallel roads to the Turnpike it would seem that making the Turnpike into a free interstate highway would be beneficial for everyone who does not have to use this toll road. When you look at State Routes 1 and 130 for example you see highways that are overloaded with truck traffic that prevents the swift flow of vehicles down the roadway. Carly Fiorina was the CEO of Hewlett-Packard before being forced to leave the company, now she wants to hold the highest office in the land. As a woman who is a Republican she has had to project a very tough attitude. Otherwise she would not be viewed as being the right material to be the President. Looking at her website the first words you see are: New Possibilities, New Leadership. To me that implies that she will attack the major issues of today from a different standpoint than the other Republican candidates, who are all men.
