Christie is now out of the race for President and will have to use his chameleon talent to again win the approval of the people of New Jersey. He started out as a Morris County Freeholder, then he was appointed United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey by George W. Bush, ran for and won twice the Governorship of the state of New Jersey and now is a failed presidential candidate.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">As Governor he has presented himself as a moderate Republican and when he ran for President he said that he was a conservative. The chameleon changes his spots to suit the political situation. Look at what happened after Super Storm Sandy when President Obama visited to observe the damage to the Jersey Shore, the two of them hugged and acted like friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">What will Christie do now that his campaign for President has failed? Will he try to maneuver to become the next Attorney General of the United States if a Republican wins or maybe even try to become Vice President? He did work as a lobbyist at one time, but I can not see him going back to doing that after having a big bite of the political apple.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Can he reinvent himself or after his second term as Governor of New Jersey he will retire from politics and enter some other non-political profession? As for myself, I can not see Christie doing anything other than something in the political arena. When <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2016\/02\/10\/trump-sanders-win-new-hampshire-and-2016-battle-moves-south.html\" target=\"_blank\">Bloomberg<\/a> announced that the Governor had a \u201c<em>disappointing sixth-place finish with a mere 8 percent of the vote<\/em>,\u201d in the New Hampshire Primary; Christie had put so much time and effort in trying to cultivating votes for himself with the end result of a negative reaction (rejection) it must of hurt him deeply.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">So the big question that Christie is probably pondering right now is how to repair his damaged image and then what will he do after his term as Governor ends. He has shown himself to be able adapt to any changes in the political landscape and yet has he damaged his political career by seeming to abandon the people of New Jersey to run for President. His political ratings are in the dumpster and he may not be able to do anything with the Democrats who control the New Jersey Legislature. They want him to just go away and do not want to make any deals with him anymore.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Has he shot himself in the proverbial foot per se or can he again change his spots and reinvent himself into a politically acceptable leader?
