John Wisniewski is a progressive liberal Democrat<\/a> who is one of people who tried very hard to unsuccessfully pin Bridgegate on Chris Christie, fought the Gas Tax and supported Bernie Sanders for President while the majority of New Jersey Democrats supported Hillary Clinton.<\/span><\/p>\n

His campaign website<\/a> opens up with a plea for support. Further down it has a section looking for donations of help and money. Then there is the slogan of the campaign \u201cNothing\u2019s impossible\u201d followed by a section with newspaper article excerpts. It is a slick well done site, but the big problem is that the mainstream Democrats are not supporting him.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wisniewski\u2019s only real public recognition might be from the Bridgegate scandal. And that means he will be bringing it up time and again. That is not a good idea as the voting public will fast become tired of his doing this. Without recognition Wisniewski\u2019s campaign will be not only fighting off the other candidates for the public\u2019s attention, but will have to work very hard to garner political support from the mainstream Democratic politicians.<\/span><\/p>\n

The real problems will be non-recognition, the fact that he has no party backing and without party backing he will have a hard time raising the needed money to run an effective campaign. He has been a assemblyman for 21 years and while he is the chairman of the Assembly’s Transportation and Independent Authorities Committee nothing that Wisniewski has done really stands out other than his attacks on Governor Christie in concert with Loretta Weinberg.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here is a link<\/a> to the State of New Jersey Legislator page on him. If you click on the bill he has sponsored, you will find that he was the one that championed the raising of the minimum wage with automatic 4 year raises. This piece of law is not a well thought out idea because people are their losing <\/span>low paying <\/span>jobs to automation, such as burger making machines and automated order taking systems for fast food establishments.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wisniewski is another left wing politician who does seem to want to help, but in reality he is just trying to get attention for further his political ambitions.<\/span><\/p>\n
