North Korea has upped the ante; it exploded a Nuclear Weapon underground. Just so you know what I am talking about, a Nuclear Weapon is also called a Hydrogen Bomb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Per CNBC<\/a>, \u201cNorth Korea<\/a> on Sunday conducted its sixth and most powerful nuclear test<\/a>, which it claimed was an advanced hydrogen bomb<\/a> designed for a long-range missile. Norsar, a Norwegian geoscience research foundation, said in a news release<\/a> that it estimated the explosive yield of the recently tested bomb to be at 120 kilotons TNT. In other words, its power equaled or exceeded 264.55 million pounds worth of TNT. By comparison, the “Little Boy” atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima during World War II yielded roughly 15 kilotons TNT. The “Fat Man” bomb dropped on Nagasaki was about 20 kilotons TNT<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course you must be made aware that it is just possible that it was not an H-Bomb, but at a yield level of 120 kilotons an atomic bomb would be very unyielding and thus not a viable candidate to put atop a missile.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us now look at what the problem is with how North Korea being encouraged not to develop these weapons of \u2018Mass Destruction.\u2019 The first thing that has been done is to of course is sanctions and now our President wants to cut off trade with this rogue nation. But sanctions have not worked and cutting off trade is not a very easy thing to do.<\/span><\/p>\n

Per the New Statesman<\/a>, \u201cThe latest provocations seem more focused on three core objectives. First, boosting the North\u2019s military capabilities and securing a credible nuclear deterrent to guard against any preemptive action by the US. Second, enhancing Kim\u2019s standing at home by demonstrating the technical prowess of the country to a North Korean people buoyed up by examples of successful modernisation. And third, very publicly allowing Kim to challenge Donald Trump and expose the hollowness of his \u201cfire and fury\u201d boasts.<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

So Kim (North Korean dictator) has traveled down a dead ended road (almost literally) because he has not left himself a dignified safe way of withdrawing from the path he has set his country on. That path is leading to a military confrontation with the United States and the rest of the world powers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kim can be likened to Adolf Hitler, because both of them committed a fundamental mistake and that mistake could end in disaster either for Kim or for everyone! Hitler would or could not see that by officially declaring war on the United States after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that having the manufacturing might of our nation fighting against him would lead to his destruction. If he had been smarter Hitler would not have declared war and let the United States just fight the Japanese.<\/span><\/p>\n

For then Germany would not have had to worry about the military and manufacturing might of this nation that was brought to bear to stop the Nazi war machine. Kim is at this very same cross-roads and seems bent on both destroying his own country plus maybe also changing the world in a very negative way. The detonation of nuclear weapons would pollute our atmosphere and maybe even create a \u2018Nuclear Winter<\/a>\u2019 situation. Not a very pretty picture at all!<\/span><\/p>\n
