Just say no, to new taxes and other rate hikes! Phil Murphy and his Democratic cronies are just biding their time until after the election when they will raise everything that they can.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Phil Murphy wants to raise your taxes and here is an example that will surely do so, Mr. Murphy said on September 15th<\/sup><\/a> that \u201cWe simply do not have the workforce that we need,” said Murphy, standing on the sidewalk of the\u00a0Mercer County Community College and flanked by U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J. “We can and we must open the doors of opportunity, wide, for all residents.”<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Murphy said that his program would offer an associate degree education free of charge to any New Jerseyan. It would not matter whether they are just graduating high school or looking for a new career later in life. There is no plan to have a means test to qualify as to who would qualify.<\/span><\/p>\n

Initially Murphy stated that the program would cost the state as much as $400 million, a Murphy for spokesman later clarified that the most it would cost would be $200 million because of all the Federal dollars already flowing to the county colleges. Kim Guadagno the Republican candidate for governor sent her Democratic opponent a box of calculators so that he could find the “true cost” of his campaign promises. Guadagno said<\/a> on Facebook that Murphy’s latest $200-400 million plan brought the total cost of his campaign promises to $75 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n

It seems to me that Phil Murphy is the one that needs to go back to school to learn how to estimate the true cost of the programs he is promising to implement as governor.<\/span><\/p>\n

My big problem is two fold; one there is no test to see if the person qualifies for a free ride at a county college. This means those who can afford to pay for college themselves would benefit from such a program and this means there is the good possibility of such a program costing even more. Secondly it has to be recognized that not everyone should go to college and that they would benefit more from a vocational\/trade school.<\/span><\/p>\n

I must state that I do not think that Guadagno will be much better, but at least she is not promising us the sky to become governor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Murphy is full of promises that will cost the New Jersey tax payer dearly. I do not think that he is being very sincere with the people of this state and is just trying to bribe the voting populous to elect him.<\/span><\/p>\n
