A blogger’s soliloquy about tweeting:<\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

To tweet or not to tweet: that is the question.<\/h4>\n

Whether \u2018tis nobler in the CPU to suffer<\/h4>\n

The bits and bytes of outrageous bloggers,<\/h4>\n

Or to take arms against a sea of electrons,<\/h4>\n

<\/p>\n

And by opposing end them? To die: to go into sleep cycle;<\/h4>\n

No more; and by cycle to say to lift the stack<\/h4>\n

The heart-ache and the thousand volt shocks<\/h4>\n

That non-flesh is heir to flesh, \u2018tis a consummation<\/h4>\n

Devoutly to be wish\u2019d. To die: to go into sleep cycle<\/h4>\n

To sleep cycle: perchance to dream: ay, there\u2019s the rub;<\/h4>\n

For in sleep cycle of death what dream may come<\/h4>\n

When we have turned off the power,<\/h4>\n

Must give us pause: there\u2019s the respect<\/h4>\n

That makes calamity of so long product life cycle;<\/h4>\n

For who would bear the bumps and power downs of time,<\/h4>\n

The operator\u2019s wrong, the proud programmer\u2019s contumely,<\/h4>\n

The pangs of despised machine code, the law\u2019s delay,<\/h4>\n

The insolence of the head programmer and the spurns<\/h4>\n

That patient merit of the unworthy takes,<\/h4>\n

When he himself might his silence make<\/h4>\n

With a bare screwdriver? Who would encumbrance bear,<\/h4>\n

To grunt and sweat under a weary life of typing,<\/h4>\n

But that the dread of something unrecoverable after it finds death<\/h4>\n

The undiscover\u2019d code from whose goal<\/h4>\n

No electrons returns, puzzles the will<\/h4>\n

And makes us rather bear those faults computers have<\/h4>\n

Aw hell I\u2019ll tweet on Twitter and be done with it!<\/h4>\n

This is my adaption of Hamlet’s soliloquy<\/a> “To be or not to be” by William Shakespeare.\u00a0 It is my interpretation of someone deciding if they want to tweet on Twitter.\u00a0 While this is a bit of fun on my part it is my hope that some of you will enjoy my version of this time honored soliloquy updated to the twenty-first century.<\/h6>\n
To be able to poke fun at myself at the same time is also what I am doing with this post, as I did not start tweeting until after I started this blog.\u00a0 And I thought that I would share this bit of fun with you the reader to as they say “Tickle your funny bone.”<\/h6>\n
Also, I have to admit that some of the references will not be understood unless you are a computer geek, hopefully you can lookup what you do not understand.<\/h6>\n
