Letting China be our go to manufacturing base has and is bad for the United States in so many ways. I will give you my insights and thoughts on why we need to restore our own industrial base.<\/span><\/p>\n

From a Newsweek article<\/a>, \u201cChina was involved in 90 percent of all economic espionage cases handled by the Department of Justice over the last seven years, according to a report submitted Wednesday to the Senate Intelligence Committee.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFrom 2011-2018, more than 90 percent of the Department\u2019s cases alleging economic espionage by or to benefit a state involve China, and more than two-thirds of the Department\u2019s theft of trade secrets cases have had a nexus to China,\u201d the report stated.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

The report noted that the Department of Justice has not always been able to link the theft of trade secrets directly to the Chinese government, but that the theft almost always benefits China\u2019s official economic policy. Furthermore, China\u2019s lack of intellectual property laws, unwillingness to cooperate in investigations\u00a0and the outsized role of state-owned enterprises in the country\u2019s economy largely contribute\u00a0to the Chinese government\u2019s complicity in these crimes.<\/i>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Futhermore from the Fox News Network<\/a> about the Chinese company Huawei, \u201cThe growing animosity between\u00a0Huawei Technologies Opens a New Window. \u00a0and the U.S. government Opens a New Window. was inevitable and a sales ban imposed by the Trump administration Opens a New Window. will have no effect on the firm\u2019s plans, according to the founder of the Chinese telecommunications giant.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to Chinese state\u00a0media on Tuesday, Ren Zhengfei said there would be \u201cconflict with the United States sooner or later\u201d as Huawei seeks to grow its dominance in the global telecom industry. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe sacrificed [the interests of] individuals and families for the sake of an ideal, to stand at the top of the world,\u201d he said according to a report Opens a New Window. <\/a>in the South China Morning Post.<\/i>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

So from the two above quotes we can see that the Chinese government is out to steal from us and through their proxy(ies) like Huawei they also want to dominate the world!<\/span><\/p>\n

A country that has no respect in law or business for the United States is a threat not only to us, but to the rest of the free world. Who knows what the Chinese goverment has been gathering through the software and hardware they have been selling us all these years. China’s relationship is adversarial, not beneficial to us! We went to them because of the penny pinching fools who learned in business school that the bottom line is all that counts.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have been saying for years that the Chinese government has been using us to enlarge their control of manufacturing. And yet no one has really stood up and said the following words \u201cEnough is enough. Either you the government of China level the playing field or we will go somewhere else!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

We can not allow economics to drive us into the ground as an industrial power. It is time to look at the place of manufacture and see that it says made in the United States. For if we don’t this country will continue down the path that will lead to our destruction.<\/span><\/p>\n
