That is a lot of people and too many to easily pick one candidate that will make it through all the debates and be nominated at their party national convention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">To me one of the most import issues is our economy. Per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/2020-election\/candidates-views-on-the-issues\/economy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Politico.com<\/a>, \u201c<i>The U.S. economy is experiencing its longest expansion ever \u2014 10 years since the last recession ended in mid-2009 \u2014 with steady growth in GDP, jobs and wages. Democratic candidates say the gains are not being shared widely enough. <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><i>Many are pushing to shift resources toward lower-income Americans, strengthen unions, diminish the power of big banks and create more affordable housing. They\u2019re also hammering Trump and the GOP for increasing the deficit and debt.<\/i>\u201d What many of the Democrats are saying borders on and is Socialism. And yet few voters really understand what that is.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">From <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/socialism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Merriam-Webster<\/a>, \u201c<i>any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.<\/i>\u201d And also, \u201c<i>a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/capitalism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">capitalism<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/communism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">communism<\/a> and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done.<\/i>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Now that you have a definition of Socialism, is this what many of the candidates really advocating? Both Bernie Sanders and Andrew Yang definitely espouse socialist ideas. Others are just more progressive, don&#8217;t get me started on that!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">I think there are too many people who have jumped into the campaign bandwagon, at least on the Democratic side. The zoo mentality seems to pervade this presidential race. That is, which one of these supposedly smart human beings is acting like a monkey to attract the voting public&#8217;s attention?
