\"Covid-19\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Covid-19 crisis goes on and on. And some political officials think it could be months before things return to normal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Governor Cuomo<\/a> of New York said this today about healthcare workers, \u201cMost of us are in our home hunkered down, worried. They’re worried and they’re going out there every day despite their fear – despite their fear. Overcoming their fear, and not for their family, they’re doing it for your family. When you see them on the street, when you see them in a hospital, please, just say thank you and smile and say, I know what you’re doing.<\/i>\u201d This I can agree with. The doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers are doing a fantastic job so far.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Governor Murphy of New Jersey tweeted this<\/a>, \u201cI take personal responsibility for the public health and safety of New Jersey. If you are unhappy about our aggressive social distancing measures, I\u2019m sorry. But your safety is my highest priority.<\/i>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Yes Governor Murphy I am very unhappy about your response and it is my opinion that you are damaging the economy of this state. Plus you are the ‘Chicken Little’ of New Jersey politicians. The sky is not falling governor. Nor is this the apocalypse!<\/span><\/p>\n

From the World Health Organization<\/a> (WHO), \u201cBasic protective measures against the new coronavirus<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Stay aware of the latest information on the COVID-19 outbreak, available on the WHO website and through your national and local public health authority. Most people who become infected experience mild illness and recover, but it can be more severe for others. Take care of your health and protect others by doing the following:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Wash your hands frequently<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Why?<\/strong> Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Maintain social distancing<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n

Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Why?<\/strong> When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Notice that WHO says nothing about gatherings or how many can get together. And yet our political idiots seem to think that they know best. The facts are that they do not and by shutting down everything that is not deemed essential our economy is taking a very big hit.<\/span><\/p>\n

And do not give me that line about endangering the old and health compromised. That is pure garbage!<\/span><\/p>\n

Those who are more likely to get sick and die should be isolated away from the general population for their own safety. Note that in many places this is already being done.<\/span><\/p>\n

The time has come to realize that the ‘Chicken Little’ factions are going to destroy us and we must not be sheep. Not everything the government tells you is true and at this time the flu is much more of a killer than Covid-19!<\/span><\/p>\n
