The world has not ended, at least not yet, and Covid-19 pandemic has not been as bad as was predicted back in February\/March.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Take a look at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&amp;q=coronavirus+stats\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Covid-19 Statistics page<\/a> and you will see what your state&#8217;s situation is. I brought up the nation wide statistics and they look good to me.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">On the darker side is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/health\/2020\/05\/04\/mental-health-coronavirus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">following fact<\/a>, \u201c<i>Three months into the coronavirus pandemic, the country is on the verge of another health crisis, with daily doses of death, isolation and fear generating widespread psychological trauma.<\/i>\u201d Why is this happening? \u201c<i>Nearly half of Americans report the coronavirus crisis is harming their mental health, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/health\/coronavirus-is-harming-the-mental-health-of-tens-of-millions-of-people-in-us-new-poll-finds\/2020\/04\/02\/565e6744-74ee-11ea-85cb-8670579b863d_story.html?itid=lk_inline_manual_12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a Kaiser Family Foundation poll<\/a>. A federal emergency hotline for people in emotional distress registered a more than 1,000 percent increase in April compared with the same time last year. Last month, roughly 20,000 people texted that hotline, run by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.<\/i>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">The self isolation and the worries that people have due to not having money coming in are contributing to a major mental health crisis and yet there seems to be very little the government has done to help people. And I am talking about on the national stage as well as on the state\/local.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">I urge those who need help with dealing with the mental side of this pandemic to reach out to your local social services to get help before you do something that could permanently hurt you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Myself, I am trying to look at what has happened and it is my hope that this country comes out of this with lessons learned. May we not keep repeating the same stupid mistakes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">I have been both economically devastated and emotionally injured.
