Those who think that New Jerseyans don’t pay the highest taxes in the United States are very much misinformed. This state has the highest taxes of any and yet Governor Murphy can not for the life of him understand that the people of this state need major tax relief.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yesterday a bunch of undocumented immigrant activists blocked the New Jersey Turnpike because the 2022 budget does not have in it enough money, in their opinion, to help those who out of work and of course came here without permission. You know, illegally. I’ll call them what they are not some politically correct phase. They are making demands that they have not the right to make. Let us get real people and remember that those who are citizens (of the USA) or at least here legally are the only ones who should be receiving government help.<\/span><\/p>\n

The property owners in this state pay the highest taxes on their homes<\/a> in the United States and the third highest overall tax burden<\/a>. People are leaving the state in droves and yet our politicians only throw us breadcrumbs instead of lowing the taxes.<\/span><\/p>\n

It must be a big joke to the Democrats in our legislature to see themselves as our betters. Fooling the voters into thinking that they are doing the best they can for the people. When in reality they are doing the best for themselves, their politically connected lobbyists friends and the public unions who dictate what they want. And few dare to deny them.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Jersey needs to ban public workers unions from being able to lobby. That way they can not continue to control how our state spends money. Unions are there to protect their membership, not lobby for things from the state. If they want something for their membership, then they should bargain for it when the union contract comes up for renegotiation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also those who do not directly work for the government, no matter what level, should not be able to receive a state pension. Unfortunately some already do and this costs us money! Why are they even eligible? They are under contract and are not employees.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally there needs to be a rollback of taxes. Both state income and sales tax. Plus the state should take control of the school systems to prevent the out of control spending that is occurring. One example is there are far too many office staff, that is such positions as vice principal of this or that. Better to spend their salaries on the children. Such as hiring more teachers, better buildings, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is time for the people of New Jersey to stop being sheep and stand up to the politically connected and say \u201cEnough is enough. We want our taxes drastically reduced!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
