Donald Trump, \u201cThe Donald\u201d, is a polarizing individual. Either you like him or hate him plus he has a tendency to speak his mind without any filtering of his thoughts. It is no surprise that he is running for President, for he had announced his intentions beforehand.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He is<\/a> a business man that has amassed fortunes and then lost them multiple times. Had his own reality television show and now he is a candidate for President. Will wonders never cease, a man of the people who knows failure and success running for our countries\u2019 highest office!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While \u201cThe Donald\u201d has had success in the business world and in television, he does not have any experience in the political arena. This could be a real problem for him as his fellow competitors have varying levels of political experience except for two candidates. The two being a business executive, Carly Fiorina who was the CEO of Hewlett-Packard and Ben Carson who was the director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins (Hospital). So now we have three individuals that have no practicable political experience, IE they have not held a political office. This may or may not have some advantage for them depending on what your ideal candidate\u2019s list of needed accomplishments are.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Per The Washington Times<\/a> \u201cReal estate mogul Donald Trump\u2019s stock is on the rise in another poll on the 2016 Republican presidential field, with support for Mr. Trump jumping more than 10 points from last month, putting him in second place behind former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.\u201d<\/em> While this is surprising to some, this candidate does evoke positive feelings for some of the Republican Party members. His message does echo similar feelings by many when he talks about Mexico and immigration. His anti Mexican\/Latino immigration ideas have certainly made people either hate what he said or agree with him, but in secret for the most part. His non-politically correct negative talking points have turned off the non-right wing of his party.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Talk like the following is what either shocks you or makes you totally agree with his viewpoint. He has<\/a> \u201c<\/em>accused Mexico’s leaders of “ripping off the United States” in lopsided trade deals and professed grudging admiration for their “cunning” ways.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

“The fact that they’re sending criminals and prisoners into our country, and that our people are stupid enough to put them in jails, or let them roam the street, which is even worse, I have to respect them for it,” Trump said.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

He appeared with a group of people who have lost family members in crimes or traffic accidents involving immigrants in the country illegally. “The illegals come in, and the illegals kill their children,” Trump said.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Latinos are of course have been angered by his comments and they are a large voting block, mostly Democratic voters, who are justifiably upset over his comments. Will this hurt him in the long term or has he found his touchstone? Only time will tell. You never know what will happen with \u201cThe Donald\u201d and sometimes I wonder how much is an act or is it just a calculated parry against the other candidates?<\/span><\/p>\n

He is either a love him or hate him type of guy. For me he is still somewhat entertaining.<\/span><\/p>\n
