He would draw a large amount of the Latin population to his campaign and his wife being from Mexico also is a big help.<!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">He is a right wing conservative candidate that has the political acumen to conduct a good campaign against Hillary Clinton, assuming of course that she is the Democratic Party candidate. If nothing else Bush has the advantage of having his father and brother as previous Presidents of the United States of America. This would be an advantage if he were to be elected because of the wealth of experience both of these men have.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">While Mr. Bush is a party man he does seem to have his own <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2015\/07\/20\/politics\/jeb-bush-swift-boat-veterans\/\" target=\"_blank\">political ideals<\/a>. For example when Donald Trump recently commented that John McCain was not a war hero, Bush tweeted the following- &#8220;Enough with the slanderous attacks. @SenJohnMcCain and all our veterans &#8211; particularly POWs have earned our respect and admiration.&#8221; Yet, when the subject of the Swift Boats came up in the 2004 campaign of his brother (George) he <em>praised Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, the group that lobbed attacks questioning Kerry&#8217;s service record in Vietnam &#8212; attacks McCain unequivocally criticized in 2004 as &#8220;dishonest and dishonorable.&#8221;<\/em> So he does seem to have a double standard and makes me wonder how ethical he really is.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Tim Miller, his campaign spokesman, stated that &#8220;A thank you letter to Col. Bud Day, Medal of Honor recipient and Air Force Cross recipient, twice captured as a POW, is not in any way analogous to condemning Donald Trump&#8217;s slanderous attack on John McCain.\u201d The good Colonel is a member of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, the group that attacked John Kerry for his service in Vietnam. Somehow this seems to be a double standard in how he politically perceives how to defend or attack another politician.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">What does Jeb Bush stand for and how will he make a difference if elected? On his own <a href=\"https:\/\/jeb2016.com\/news?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a> he states the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><em>Should I win this election, you will not find me deferring to the settled ways of \u201cMount Washington.\u201d\u00a0The overspending, the overreaching, the arrogance, and the sheer incompetence in that city \u2013 these problems have been with us so long that they are sometimes accepted as facts of life&#8230;<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><em>Under president Obama the United States lost its AAA credit rating.When Jeb was in office, Florida earned its AAA credit rating&#8230;<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><em>Jeb earned the nickname Veto Corleone because as governor, he vetoed over 2,500 separate line items in the budget.\u00a0\u00a0No one was safe from Jeb\u2019s veto power. If a piece of the legislation was not in the best interest of the people of Florida, it was cut\u2026<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\"><em>Jeb refused to go along with the establishment and be another member of the club, and it made all the difference. Eight years as Governor and 8 years of hard work led to 8 balanced budgets, 8 years of tax cuts, and 8 billion in new reserves&#8230;<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia,palatino,serif; font-size: 18pt;\">As you can see he thinks that the people serving in Washington DC are incompetent, that Obama is a terrible business man, that he believes in using his veto powers to get what he wants and that he refuses to be part of the political establishment.
