As a woman who is a Republican she has had to project a very tough attitude. Otherwise she would not be viewed as being the right material to be the President. Looking at her website the first words you see are: New Possibilities, New Leadership. To me that implies that she will attack the major issues of today from a different standpoint than the other Republican candidates, who are all men. This is a good thing that she can use to her advantage and may give her a leg up on the other non-politician candidates.

In the first debate she did well enough to now go from being in 14th to 5th place in the New Hampshire primary race. Well looking at her time at Hewlett-Packard does not inspire one to think that her business experience would be of any real help in doing the job as President. Per a Fortune magazine article, “In 1999, a dysfunctional HP board committee, filled with its own poisoned politics, hired her with no CEO experience, nor interviews with the full board. For the most part most people who have been the CEO or Chairperson of the Board of a large business are not qualified to be in a politically sensitive position such as being the President of the United States. You must remember that in politics it is a very different game from how business is done. I still remember all the people who voted for John Corzine to become Governor of New Jersey they soon found out that he was not suited to be Governor.
