Someone <\/span>last week <\/span>asked if I still owned my house and that made me decide that it is time to write a new Jumpin Jersey Mike\u2019s very Personal blog. When I started writing about myself back in September 2014 where I discussed some personal things about my situation. Well back in the end of February I went to see an Orthopedic Surgeon about my knees. Just as a background this was the evening of that wonderful snow and ice storm, which did not help when I went home. My going to the surgeon only happened because out of the blue I received a NJ Family form which I filled out and got insurance.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The result of going to the Orthopedic Surgeon is that it confirmed the original diagnosis of Chondromalacia of (both) the Patella<\/a>, which means that my knee cartilage is rough and can catch at times. The doctor recommended a shot to each knee that would reduce the swelling of the cartilage using synthetic hormones plus some anesthetic. This has helped till now and the symptoms are coming back, I will be seeing the surgeon again in the near future. While the knees felt better my back for some reason gave way, I do not know if it was related to the shots I was given or not. The farther from the date of the shots the better my back has become and somehow they do seem to be related, again I will have ask if there is any relationship.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the mean time since I do not have the restrictions that were imposed on me when I was on Food Stamps I have been selling more of my own and parent\u2019s items plus some other items on Ebay. I have been able to pay most of my bills,but not the property taxes, for the last five months with some help as needed from a friend. The restrictions imposed by the Food Stamp program are counterproductive and actually can make things worse financially.<\/span><\/p>\n

My selling style is very different from other sellers and I take great pride in how I service my buyers and the One Hundred percent Feedback Score that I have as a Seller. I even bought a used high end point and shoot digital camera to improve the quality of my pictures. I must say that using a digital camera is much better than the old film cameras and highly recommend that you do your research before you buy yourself one.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have been seriously contemplating using crowdfunding to help me pay the back property taxes, water bills and the tax lien. What I would propose is that by funding me I can continue to put out this award winning blog, it does cost money to keep the website up and running, and be able to continue with writing a novel that I have been working on for a long time. As a secondary or maybe a primary reward you would be given an electronic copy of my novel when it is finished.<\/span><\/p>\n

I do have to note that I have been actively searching for a job and so far no job offers; not for the lack of trying.\u00a0 the job search continues.<\/span><\/p>\n

This blog will be continued in the very near future with my decision on if I am going the crowdfunding route.<\/span><\/p>\n
