Is New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle Inspection doing enough?

Right now all we do is check the emissions. Nothing else is looked at, you could have bald tires and they couldn’t do anything about it.

Should the State of NJ go back to a more thorough vehicle inspection system? If you ask Governor Christie the answer is no. Well if you look around while driving you will see many cars that have brake lights that are out, turn signals that do not work, headlights that do not work or so misaligned that they either blind you or point in every direction instead of where they should, broken windshields, wornout tires, etc.
