In honor of Thanksgiving I thought it would be nice to write a short poem expressing myself on this special day. May you enjoy the poem and have a truly happy holiday!

Thanksgiving in New Jersey-

Thanksgiving it is and it is just great living in a taxing state.

Phil Murphy and friends think that money grows on trees. And yet we the people of New Jersey know that we need a tax freeze!

New Jersey is the land of high taxes and that is a fact, jack! This is so wack that I think Phil and friends must turn these taxes back.

People leave and some come in, but those that who stay hope for happiness are being forced to go away.

We have much to be thankful for and yet things in the legislature are not too tranquil. Because the politicians who have formed coalitions to line their pockets with our trinkets and lockets.

So this Thanksgiving we the people of New Jersey are in a hurry to find peace and happiness without the worry of being taxed to death.
