The verdict is in the death of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson and violence erupted just after it was announced. Some might think the destruction happened because the police officer was exonerated of all charges, others know that there is a more than likely reason. Everyone except for the family of Michael Brown polarized what happened into a purely racial act. When in fact it was not; at least not according to the facts the Grand Jury were presented with. Of course we have not heard from the Feds and what their conclusions might be.

The family knew him the best and knows what type of person he was. They asked for calm and for people to peacefully protest. But, the trouble makers have taken over, destroyed many local businesses and have not honored Michael’s memory. How can what they did be justified or condoned by any reasonable person. Remember that hate just brings more hate.

Never the less the race baiters and trouble makers have blown the death of Brown into more than it should have been made into. Why is this you might ask? Well it seems every time a white man kills/shoots/injures a black man race automatically comes into play. Even if race has nothing to do with what really happened. There are too many who feed off of hatred who twist the truth into some sick thing as only they see it.

I for one wish Michael Brown had just been arrested for theft and seen for what he was. Every one of these people who think he was a saint either do not know the facts or just ignore what really happened. Too many of the eye witnesses changed their stories after being presented with verified facts that contradicted what they perceived as happening. It is a pity that he was killed and even more so that those who see race as a reason to hate. We all must look to Dr. Martian Luther King, Jr. and how he strived for equality and justice by peaceful means. This senseless violence serves no community good nor does it bring justice for what happened.

There are too many who want to profit from the racial strife and while I will not name names they do exist and must be told to stop stirring up trouble so they can profit from it. They are disgusting human beings and should be relegated to the dark corner of history never to be heard from again! Unfortunately this probably will not happen, while we have come a long way since the death of Dr. King there is still a long and winding road to be conquered. We all no matter what race, religion or nationality must learn to at least tolerate each other at the least and stop this stupidity. Are we not all human beings? Do we not see how stupid it is to judge a person just by the color of their skin? While we have a long way to go, this nonsensical rioting just because you disagree with something that happened must stop. It serves no good purpose and only reinforces negative stereotypes.
