What do that two major political party candidates have in common; they both are their own worst enemy! Yes Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both seem to have such flaws that they do not really have to attack one another.

They just seem to create problems for themselves. I will first look at Hillary and at one of her own caused problems. The  fact that she setup an unsecured private email server when she was Secretary of State was not a good idea at all! While she is not the first one to have unsecured email, Hillary did not make sure that her staff knew not to send any emails through her private server that were classified.

In January of 2009 she begins using hdr22@clintonemail.com, an email account housed on a private server. The State Department’s policy at that time stated that “normal day-to-day operations” were to be conducted on an authorized system. Of course her private email server did not meet this criterion at all and she should have known or at least inquired what the State Department’s rules were; hence she is her own worst enemy! By having a private server she has opened the door for the opposing party to bring this up as showing how incompetent she is.

Why did you not look at what the policy was, Hillary? Do you think that you are immune to following the rules?

Now I will talk about one of Donald Trump’s flaws. What stands out the most, at least to me is what he has said on Twitter (@realDonaldTrump). He seems to have no public filter at all and it has gotten him into trouble in the past.

Here are some of the things he has said on Twitter-

This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy  – June 2014

I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.  – November 2012

Obama is, without question, the WORST EVER president. I predict he will now do something really bad and totally stupid to show manhood!  – September 2014

An ‘extremely credible source’ has called my office and told me that @BarackObama‘s birth certificate is a fraud.  – August 2012

And finally-

President Obama & Putin fail to reach deal on Syria – so what else is new? Obama is not a natural deal maker. Only makes bad deals! – September 2016

Donald just to reply to that last tweet, Obama is not that only one that makes bad deals! You have a long list of them, be that they are in the commercial arena and not the political one does not matter.

I could go on for quite awhile talking about the things both candidates have said/done to hurt themselves, but I won’t do so as to not make this blog boring. But I must say that this Presidential campaign just reminds me of the movie “Dumb and Dumber” and you the voting public will have to pick one of them to be President of the United States.

Does anyone have a solution to this conundrum? Whoever becomes President will be not be as good as any of the past Presidents of this country. Both of them should never have been nominated in the first place.

Here it comes, a very politically incorrect statement folks-

God help us through the next four years and preserve our country from the mistakes of either of these two Presidential candidates, whoever is elected may they stop being stupid!
