Obama and a third term

President Obama

President Obama has stated that he could of won a third term as President in a recent interview. I do not understand the man at all, for his record is not one to be that proud of and he is finishing his second term by not supporting the only democratic country in the Middle East, Israel.

What makes our current President think that he could persuade the American public that if he had run in the just concluded election that he would have won? Obama said this in a news interview, “I am confident in this vision because I’m confident that … if I had run again and articulated it, I think I could’ve mobilized a majority of the American people to rally behind it.” Somehow I think that the President is not living in this world, but a fantasy one.

Americans in general are fed up with what happened during his two terms as President. Obama has been too wishy-washy when he has drawn the line in the sand with both our allies and enemies. He says if you do this, then we will respond like this and yet time after time of this happening he does not do what he threatened to.

Also he does not have the skill set to be a great mesmerizing speaker; instead he is just a so-so one. He does not inspire the American public as much as he thinks and while his big accomplishment has been the American Care Act (Obama Care) it has not been as successful as determined by anyone who backed it, they mostly think that it needs much work to do what it should without the heavy cost penalties.

Do not get the idea that I hate what President Obama accomplished; it is just that he really needed more support from Congress and less blocking by the Republicans to truly have reached his goals.

Is the era of Progressive politics dead? For the American voter did vote in those opposed to the current President and his like in Congress. In my opinion the Progressive movement has been a failure from the beginning, because the majority of Americans are more the middle of the road politically. Trump should make note of this and not make the same mistake.

And hopefully political correctness will fade away and stay away for a very long time to come.

That is my opinion- Jumpin Jersey Mike
