When the truth is a falsehood

The Squad

When is the truth a falsehood, if it is spoken as by one of the ‘Squad.’ Per Wikipedia, “The Squad is an informal political grouping of four congresswomen elected in the 2018 United States House of Representatives elections, made up of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan. All are women of color under 50 and have been placed by news outlets such as Refinery29 and Politico on the left wing of the Democratic Party.

The group has been said to represent the demographic diversity of a younger political generation and the advocacy of progressive policies such as the Green New Deal which have sometimes clashed with their party’s leadership. Ocasio-Cortez coined the “Squad” name in an Instagram post a week after Election Day.

Ocasio-Cortez is the one that tries to come across as smart, but almost always trips over her own self. Omar and Tlaib are both anti-Jewish and very pro Muslim, they bend the truth into a pretzel and it comes out very false. Pressley while out there too, is more of a black versus white politician and at least to me not as out there as the other three.

Ocasio-Cortez does not seem to understand basic economics. Her ‘Green Deal‘ is just crazy and the rest of her political beliefs scream extreme Socialist maybe even Communist. I believe that she needs to think more and speak less, but it is always fun to hear stumble with this or that idea or proposal.

Of course Omar is mired in the controversy of who she married and her anti-Jewish rants are completely crazy.

Tlaib is an Israel hater that bends the truth into something that fits her convoluted way of thinking. Somehow the Palestinians always are the good guys and Israel is bad. She openly supports Islamic terrorist organizations and how she got in is a total screw-up on the part of the Michigan voting public.

None of the Squad should have been voted into office and their so-called progressive agenda is so far left of left wing that it is off the political cliff. Fortunately for the voting public in their districts they only serve two years. Maybe they should read a good explanation of how Congress works that comes from another Michigan representative, Tim Walberg. Then maybe the members of the Squad would know what they should be doing!

That is my opinion- Jumpin Jersey Mike
