As the pandemic drags on and our publicly elected officials continue with their mantra of wear a face mask and keep socially distant from one another. The outbreak continues to wax and wain. Now onto the part where you will begin to hate me. Well maybe just dislike what I am saying?
In my opinion the face mask is just about useless. Yes, doctors and nurses use them. But in reality that is more for protection against bacterial agents. Viral ones are more high-risk and can be very minute.
Don’t get me wrong, I do wear a mask when out shopping. For if I did not I would be ostracized. The people of America and many other parts of planet have been lulled into obedience. We have been bombarded into submission by the so called authoritative health experts into believing that a piece of cloth will provide protection from Covid-19. And of course we must maintain the magic distance of six feet apart at the same time to further prevent us from getting this virus.
What is even worse is the fact that the naive public has been so brow beaten that they now believe that those who are not wearing masks will infect them! This ignores the fact that they are wearing their mask to protect them. What seems to be the common opinion is that although it protects the other person, it doesn’t protect them. Well I got news for them! If a person somehow has a N95 mask then they are spewing out the virus everywhere. It turns out that a real N95 mask does not filter the outgoing movement of breath, it only filters when you breath in. So anyone wearing a real N95 is infecting everyone else. They are designed this way. I guess the real purpose of that model mask is to provide protection only to the wear.

Please don’t blame me for the fact that you have been fooled. And yes there is conflicting information from various experts. So believe what you want. Far from it be me who causes you to catch this virus!
What you can do to further protect yourself is to continue to wear your cloth mask, please replace or clean it often, get a plastic face shield and make sure that the mask fits snugly so there are no air leaks. And if you are a religious person I would pray, I do. Both for myself, my friends and relatives and humanity. But that is just me, Mr. Nice Guy.
