Hillary Clinton made three blunders

Hillary Clinton 2016

Hillary Clinton made three blunders within the last seven days. Will they hurt her or can the voting public forgive or forget them?

Blunder number one was calling Trump supporters– “To just be grossly generalistic, you can put half of Trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,” she paused and continued with “Right? Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it.” Then she went on to say, “And unfortunately, there are people like that and he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric.” And finally she said that some of the Trump supporters were “irredeemable” and “not America.” How nice of her to insult the voting public and especially those who might change their minds in the future; not anymore!

Number two was saying that she made a mistake trying to retract to some extent what she had previously said. After calling Trump supporters “A basket of deplorables” previously, she said the next day that “Last night I was ‘grossly generalistic,’ and that’s never a good idea. I regret saying ‘half’ — that was wrong,” She also issued a statement in which she also vowed to call out “bigotry” in Trump’s campaign.

And the number three blunder is not listening to her doctor(s) and going out to a 911 remembrance ceremony to only feel faint and to have to be carried off. Her doctors claim she had pneumonia and that she should not have gone to the ceremony.

Well the three blunders put together do not paint a very good portrait of a candidate for President of the United States. One she pulled what I would call talking without thinking; something she has accused Donald Trump of. Two she then thought it over and/or was persuaded that she needed to retract/modify her comments. Which made her look stupid and vacillating; something that I do not want in a candidate for President! And finally by not listening to her doctor(s) and being too stubborn to realize that she is a human being with same frailties that we all have.

I have heard whispers from some Democrats that they are looking for someone to replace her. This does not bode well for her campaign and Donald Trump seems to be acting like a gentleman, at least about her being ill. Good for him and bad for her.

Like I said last week, she is her own worst enemy and now she must redouble her campaigning efforts.

That is my opinion- Jumpin Jersey Mike
