Unrest is abroad in the land!

The next POTUS

Unrest is abroad in the land! President Elect Donald Trump met with President Obama today while people throughout the United States are violently protesting Trumps election this past Tuesday.

In my local area a School Board Member’s home has been violated by some morons putting anti-Muslim graffiti on his home, they should know better. What is the sense in doing this; who will be targeted next? It might be you!

I have talked about the proper way of protesting and what is happening around the country in reaction to the election of a man many believe is the devil. Yet Ms. Hillary Clinton in her very nicely done concession speech has asked that President Elect Trump be given a chance. Is anyone listening to one of the voices of reason? Or is it those who support the next President the one’s at fault for all of the anti-Muslim or any other anti anything/body incidents?

And how about those from the left wing of the Democratic Party who are using the fact that Mrs. Clinton lost to go forth and cause mayhem. It is time for everyone to calm down and realize that acting out, like children having a temper tantrum, does not solve anything! By protesting peacefully you can still get your point(s) across without all the destruction of property and the further sowing of hatred

Dr. Martian Luther King, Jr. who should be held in high esteem by everyone as an example of a leader who knew how to get his points across without all the violence and hatred. I am appalled by the fact that many people think that they have the right to tread upon the rights and happiness of their fellow citizens. People, this is a democratic republic. We are not living in Nazi Germany!

Please remember that there are checks and balances in our political system. So Trump can not do whatever he wants; you the public do have a voice in our country- use it well. Do not throw it away by wasting your time and mine by being stupid in thinking that everything must go your way. Remember this is the real world! We do not and should not act like children just because things have not gone the way we want them to.

That is my opinion- Jumpin Jersey Mike
