Yellow journalism happened over 100 years ago and it has resurfaced in today’s news. President Trump calls ‘Fake News’ when he perceives the bias of the press and yet it is really our old friend yellow journalism.

A certain news organization owned by a former presidential candidate who is a billionaire and has switched from Democrat to Republican and back again seems to be practicing this kind of news reporting. I have noted a good number of times when this company has very biased reporting against Trump and/or his conservative followers. Of course there are also news outlets that do the same against progressives.

It is very hard to tell the sometimes when the news has been twisted by the reporting news source. And yellow journalism is being practiced by both the liberal progressives and the conservatives. This makes taking the news reports at face value very hard.

No one should take what is reported as the truth by the news services without some corroborating additional resources. The big problem is that people want to know instantly what happened and why. The public thinks that real life is like the movies or television where all is known at the end of the movie or television show. Which of course is highly unrealistic and yet people have been programmed to believe just that.

I myself rarely watch the nightly news, instead I listen to the radio and troll the internet for information on what is happening. What I have to remember and you should also is the fact that not all the facts you might read about or hear are the total truth. And they even may be twisted in a way to make you believe the exact opposite of the truth.

Remember the manipulation of the truth has always been something that people have to be on the look out for. Whatever the source you should question it and the motives behind what they are reporting.
