Now that the 2016 Iowa Caucus is history who really won and who should go home? The caucus results were extremely close between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton, especially considering that Clinton has much more experience in running for president. One of the big results is that Sanders garnered over 80% of the college age vote and this is not insignificant at all. Lincoln Chafee is the unknown candidate of the Democrats running for President. He does have an extensive background in serving the public in Rhode Island. This includes being Governor, US Senator and Mayor of Warwick Rhode Island. If you go to his official website one of the first things you see is his mantra; “Politics change. Bernie Sanders Presidential Candidate

 

Bernie Sanders is now surging ahead of Hillary Clinton in the latest Gallop Poll. Per Gallop- “His favorable rating among Americans has doubled since Gallup’s initial reading in March, rising to 24% from 12% as he has become better known. Hillary Clinton’s rating has slipped to 43% from 48% in April. At the same time, Clinton’s unfavorable rating increased to 46%, tilting her image negative and producing her worst net favorable score since December 2007.”
