Do New Jersey’s voter laws need to be fixed? Our state representatives seem to think so and are willing to go to great lengths to make sure they become enacted into law. Senate President, Steve Sweeney, is most insistent that changes are needed and the laws we have now are antiquated.

Why is this issue even being addressed and why are they pushing very hard to make these changes so that they are written into the law books? The simple answer is that the Democrats want more voters and they of course need them to be registered Democrats. Per the NJ.com and the Washington Post Hillary Clinton is urging changes to our state voter laws which will in some way benefit the Democratic Party. High Speed Internet Access for Everyone

Will reasonably priced High Speed Internet access become available to everyone or will it become something that those who are poor can never have? President Obama proposed in a speech from Cedar Falls, Iowa that the Department of Agriculture “offer between $40 million and $50 million to rural carriers that invest in bringing broadband in rural areas. According to a report from FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler, 53 percent of rural Americans have no access to high-speed Internet, which he defined as capable of downloading content at 25 megabits per second.”   Also, his administration will formally oppose laws that limit competition for high-speed Internet access.
