New Jersey is the land of high taxes!

High property Taxes in NJNew Jersey is the land of high taxes and it is official! Our wonderful state came in number 1 in worst property taxes. So lets all shout we’re number 1, we’re number 1! Oh, wait a minute that is bad not good.   So go shout at your Legislators, Lower our taxes now! Come on… you can shout louder, do it until you are horse. Review of the Laws passed in 2014 and the future

Happy New Year NJ capitol builging[symple_spacing size=”80″]This is a review of the laws passed by the New Jersey Legislature in 2014 and what we could be looking at in 2015.

Racetracks and casinos were able to regulate and operate sports betting per S-2460. Governor Christie signed the bill on Friday October 17th which partially repeals state prohibitions, permits, licenses and authorizations for sports betting. Of course pro sports leagues and the NCAA moved in court to block it. We are now awaiting the courts final decision. Continue reading Review of the Laws passed in 2014 and the future

NJ property taxes too high!

[symple_spacing size=”80″]Just about everyone in New Jersey admits that our property taxes are way too high, even to the point of forcing people to leave the state. In the previous blog I talked about how the Supreme Court of New Jersey has misinterpreted the state constitution, the teachers and state works unions should have their pension changed to union funded, a state constitutional convention to fix the way we fund our schools and that our teachers/administrator/other workers should be paid for by the state. That was a mouthful of recapping and now lets explore some other options.
