NJ property taxes are high!
NJ property taxes are high!

[symple_spacing size=”80″]How can the property tax problem in New Jersey be solved? Well I am going to take a stab at it with my own ideas and opinions. So this is a far warning stand back and be impressed; I hope.

To begin with lets take a look at some of the causes, then I will move on to my solution(s). First and foremost is most, if not all of your property taxes go toward your local school system. And the Supreme Court of New Jersey has issued a set of rulings that directly impact you the tax payer. These rulings are not based on constitutional law, but on the incorrect interpretation of the court. The New Jersey Constitution states the following “must supply a fair and efficient system of education” unfortunately the court seems to think that it say “must supply a fair and efficient education” whoops someone can’t read. [symple_spacing size=”80″]To update everyone the first deadline to pay the property taxes has passed and unless I can come up with the money before the Delinquent Property Tax Sale, December 2nd, I will have to sell my house before then. Which is not the end of the world although it might be that I can not keep my dog, Joey. He is a Dalmatian and weighs about 50 pounds, a bit too big for an apartment. He is my muse and helps me cope with all that is happening. It will break my heart if I can not keep him.

Another problem is that I do not have any savings left at all. I used what I had to pay my bills until I nothing left. My philosophy is to pay my bills in full and now that I can not it kind of makes me feel bad. While I do sell items on Ebay and make a small amount of money doing that, it is not always enough to pay the bills. I have had two part time jobs in the last three years, both during the holidays. It seems to me that there are very few jobs open to me that I can do.

They are at it again, wasting our money on a non-issue, what the @!?@ do they think is so important about picking an official song(s)? I can not think of a less important issue to be debating or even entertaining any thoughts about when we have much more weighty issues to deal with.
