The Gas Tax is coming, the Gas Tax is coming to paraphrase that famous line in a poem titled “The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere” by Longfellow. We all should be wary of politicians bearing gifts. The Republican Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick ceded the fact his party will pursue raising the tax on gasoline when the legislature meets for the Fall Session. Tunneling Under the Hudson River

As everyone that commutes to New York City knows if one of the tunnels that trains use goes out of service your commute becomes a nightmare. Because of the latest tunnel shutdown, that happened this July, the Obama administration has again brought up the idea of building the third tunnel under the Hudson River. Governor Christie in October of 2010 killed the ARC tunnel project dubbed “The Tunnel to Macy’s Basement” because of the high financial cost that only New Jersey would have had to bare, plus of course where it would have ended.
