Is the glass half full or empty?

Cruz and Kasich perfect together

Some people see the glass half full or half empty, well to me it is half full as it is filled up and half empty as it is being emptied of its contents. The half full or empty test is a physiological reading on your state of mind. Well I do not subscribe to this test as there is no third option. Maybe both Ted Cruz and John Kasich should take this test as they both seem to have gotten the idea that they should be the sole arbitrators of the Republican Party.

They have teamed up to derail Donald Trump’s bid for the Presidency by denying him the nomination both of them announced that “they will divide their efforts in upcoming contests with Cruz focusing on Indiana and Kasich devoting his efforts to Oregon and New Mexico. The strategy — something the two campaigns have been working on for weeks — is aimed at blocking Trump from gaining the 1,237 delegates necessary to claim to GOP nomination this summer.” This is an unprecedented move on their parts because it is being done out in full view of everyone, it is not a backroom deal that politicians have been known to engage in.

How are they going to do this is described by what Ted Cruz said on Monday (April 25th) while talking to conservative radio host Laura Ingraham, “This is a nationwide campaign and we’re making a decision where to focus our time, energy and resources. We are now focused very, very heavily on the state of Indiana. It is significant that John Kasich is pulling out of Indiana and allowing us to go directly head to head with Donald Trump.” What a real dirty trick this is and what makes it even more heinous is that it is done all in the name of conservatism. Do Cruz and Kasich think that since Trump is the one that people are voting for they have the right as so called representatives of the Right Wing of the Republican Party? Or are they just both sore losers who can not stand to see someone who is a non-politician win the Republican nomination for President? Well to me it does not matter one iota, this deal really stinks and is just two stupid people trying to act like adults, but in reality they are children. They might as well being screaming at the top of their lungs the following- “Trump you stink and we don’t. We don’t want you and neither do the party big wigs! We do not care what the people want, both of us will do what we think is best.”

Cruz’s campaign manager said that “To ensure that we nominate a Republican who can unify the Republican Party and win in November, our campaign will focus its time and resources in Indiana and in turn clear the path for Gov. Kasich to compete in Oregon and New Mexico.” Are these two the modern day Twiddle Dumb and Twiddle Dee? Who do they think they are and why should this behavior be tolerated? Both of them should be ashamed and stop campaigning altogether, neither of them deserves to be in any political office.

That is my opinion- Jumpin Jersey Mike
